We’re excited to announce the success of the World Amateur Golf Championship (WAGC) World Final, hosted at Laguna Golf Phuket from October 26 to November 1, 2024. Over 400 skilled golfers from 40+ countries gathered, each striving for conquered WAGC World Final champion title. The week was filled with remarkable talent, intense competition, and unforgettable moments both on and off the course.
A Memorable Blend of Golf and Culture
This event offered more than just a tournament. Against the lush backdrop of Laguna Golf Phuket, players engaged in rounds that tested their skill and resilience. Participants enjoyed the best of Phuket, from thrilling island speedboat tours to Phi Phi and Khai Islands, to exploring temples, markets, and shops on the Phuket old town. Some cruised the Andaman Sea on a half-day yacht catamaran, while others connected with nature through a memorable elephant trekking experience, embracing Thailand’s rich culture along the way.
Looking Forward to South Korea in 2025
As the WAGC concludes here in Phuket, we look forward to seeing next year’s competition unfold on Jeju Island, South Korea.
