Dear Members,
As we enter the hotter months, I would like to extend my best wishes to all members who are travelling back to their home countries – safe travels to you. For our resident members, I wish you a joyful and prosperous Songkran Thai New Year. Thank you all for your continued support of Laguna Golf Phuket.
Following a comprehensive review of our recent member survey, which received 144 responses, we are pleased to report an average overall score of 77 %.
While the majority of feedback was positive, we acknowledge that certain areas require improvement. Key concerns highlighted included:
- Limited F&B options at on course kiosks
- Challenges in booking tee times and caddies via phone
- Streamlining the online booking process
- Increasing member participation in club events
- Enhancing communication regarding club updates and members handicaps
Additional feedback included suggestions such as adjusting recommended caddie tips, extended driving range hours during peak season and improving caddie & staff English proficiency.
In response to this valuable input, we will be implementing several enhancements in the coming months, including:
- Renovating Kiosk 10 to provide a better food and beverage experience
- Establishing a dedicated booking office for tee times and caddies, allowing the Pro shop to focus solely on check in and payment for a more seamless arrival process.
- Introducing a caddie booking fee to improve availability and service.
- Collaborating with our online booking provider to enhance the booking process.
- Increasing the frequency of club communications and updates for members.
- Exploring the possibility of extending driving range hours during high season.
Additionally, our ongoing commitment remains to continuously improve the course conditions, landscaping, pace of play, processes and staff development to enhance your overall experience at Laguna Golf Phuket.
Finally, we are delighted to welcome Mr. Jhomer Darlito Patalot Jr our new Director of Agronomy, to the team to continue to enhance our course conditions, Jhomer brings extensive experience working across Asia and Thailand, having most recently served as Golf Course Superintendent at Amata Springs Country Club in Bangkok. He succeeds Khun Chawanwit, who moves on after six successful years with Laguna Golf, contributing to both Laguna Golf Bintan and Phuket. We thank Khun Chawanwit for his dedication and wish him the best in his future endeavours.

Online Tee Time Booking
We encourage members to book online and take advantage of the online tee time booking feature which is now available for both members and visitors to book and pay for tee times, all members can start booking tee times using this feature by visiting
This online booking function will allow you to book a tee time for up to 4 people. If one member wants to book a flight of 4 members, he/she will need to know the registered email addresses of each of the members in the flight to make the booking.
Make sure to customize your booking by adding a caddie and buggy in the “Extras” section before clicking confirm.
Once the booking is confirmed you will receive a booking confirmation email, and as usual, caddie fees and buggy fees will need to be settled in the Pro shop upon arrival.
The payment feature is now available, allowing you to book and pay immediately for a smoother one-stop booking process.
Please note at this time, members who wish to book a specific caddie will still need to do so through the Pro shop.
Course Maintenance
In preparation for the 2025 Singha Laguna Phuket Open in May, we will be implementing the following minimally invasive maintenance practices throughout April and into May to ensure optimal playing conditions:
- April 1 : Solid tine Back 9 fairways
- April 8 : Light verticut of fairways
- April 8 : Solid tine greens
- April 10 & 16 : Light greens grooming
- April 24 : Solid tine greens
- April 28 : Light top dress and verticut of greens
- April 29 : Light top dress and verticut of tees
Facility Upgrades
We are pleased to share the latest updates on our ongoing facility upgrade projects:
- Bridge 17 construction is well underway and scheduled for completion by April 10th.
- New Driving range Academy wall has now been erected with the signage to be installed within April.
- New 6 bay covered hitting area – works is now underway and scheduled for completion within April, this hitting area will be open for hitting in June.
- Banyan Café Toilets restoration works are set to be complete within March.
- Locker room restoration works will take place next week and be completed within April, during this time the showers will be partially closed from April 1 – 11 and the men’s locker room will be closed from April 16 – 25.
- Golf Course Landscape Projects – plantation has now been planted behind green 12, and flowers planted next to Tee box 12, aswell as behind green 4 and along the roadside.
- Over 500 Ficus Trees have been planted on either side of the road between Holes 12 & 13 and Holes 16 & 17, these trees provide a barrier between the roadside and course to offer a more secluded golfing experience.
