Pro Shop New Arrivals in July

Pro Shop new arrivals in June will include Polo shirts, shorts, caps and more from G/fore, Peter Millar, Nike, Under Armour and Fenix! 

Members get a 10% discount on all Pro shop items excluding balls and shoes and promotional items.

Online Tee Time Booking

The online tee time booking feature is now available for both members and visitors to book and pay for tee timeswe encourage all members to start booking tee times using this feature by visiting

Initially you will need to sign up and create an account using the same email that is registered with the club.

This online booking function will allow you to book a tee time for up to 4 people.

If one member wants to book a flight of 4 members, he/she will need to know the registered email addresses of each of the members in the flight to make the booking.

Make sure to customize your booking by adding a caddie and buggy in the “Extras” section before clicking confirm.

Once the booking is confirmed you will receive a booking confirmation email, and as usual, caddie fees and buggy fees will need to be settled in the Pro shop upon arrival.

The payment feature is now available, allowing you to book and pay immediately for a smoother one-stop booking process.

 

Please note at this time, members who wish to book a specific caddie will still need to do so through the Pro shop.

2024 Annual Dues

Members who are yet to pay their 2024 Annual dues, please be reminded to settle your full annual dues by June 30, 2024, at the following rates.
Failure to settle these dues by the due date will result in a loss of membership privileges from July 1st, 2024.

2024 Annual dues:

  • Lead Adult – THB 30,000
  • Associate Member – THB 8,500
  • Bag Storage – THB 5,000
  • Locker Rental – THB 5,000

Each membership will include 3 practice passes & 3 invitations for member’s friends to play 18 holes together.

Paul Ashman – Retirement Announcement

After nearly 19 years of loyal and dedicated service, Paul has accepted a retirement package and will be concluding his time at Laguna Golf Phuket at the end of July 2024. We shall certainly miss Paul’s friendly and cheerful presence on the golf course. At 76 years young, it’s time for Paul to enjoy some much-deserved rest and relaxation.

Over the years, Paul has been an invaluable part of the team, starting players, bringing people together, managing the pace of play, supporting tournaments and events. We send Paul off with our best wishes for a happy and fulfilling future with his family.

Facility Upgrades

Over the coming months we
will continue with our upgrading and restoration program with works on the
following areas

  • Renovating on course bridges
  • Renovating Kiosks 1 & 10
  • Restorating locker rooms
  • Revamping the Putting & Chipping greens

Course Maintenance

July 
 9: Fairway & Rough verticut, coring and top-dress holes 1 – 9.
 9: Greens light top dress.
10  18: Fairway & Rough verticut, coring and top-dress holes 10 –18.

August
5 – 6: Greens verticut & light top dress
19 – 20: Greens light top dress

July – August

Grassing down selected bunker faces and add installation of drainage & new sand on bunkers on Holes 2 – 6.
During this period renovated bunkers will be deemed GUR for approximately 2 – 3 weeks.

After recently completing the greens coring program, we will now move onto coring, verticutting and top dressing the fairways and rough in the first two weeks of July.

These procedures will promote better drainage of the fairways and alleviate compaction, increase the health and vitality of the grass whilst delivering enhanced playability, the full recovery time is expected to be 2 to 3 weeks, during this period its recommended to play preferred lies on fairways.
