As we approach the end of another successful high season, I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your continued support of Laguna Golf Phuket.
I am pleased to share that 100 members so far have participated in our recent members survey. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will be conducting a thorough review to ensure we take meaningful action on some key suggestions.
As always, the survey reflects a diverse range of perspectives, sometimes even contradictory ones – which highlights the unique and dynamic nature of the club.
To enhance participation in our club events, we are introducing a series of changes to the monthly medal format, starting with the February Medal. These enhancements are designed to create a more seamless and enjoyable experience for all members:
Key changes include:
• Advanced registration – Members must register 24 hours in advance
• Medal specific tee times AM & PM
• Mixed Pairings to encourage more member integration
• Standard Competition Protocols to ensure consistency and fairness
Looking ahead, I am excited to share that we will be making significant investments over the coming year, including adding some new maintenance equipment, continued upgrades to club facilities, and enhancements to the course landscapes- all aiming to elevate the golfing experience at Laguna.
I look forward to welcoming you to our upcoming Members Cocktail Evening on Saturday, March 1st, from 6-8PM! Get ready for a fantastic evening with live entertainment, a delicious spread from Banyan Café, and unlimited pours of selected red & white wine and Singha draft beer.

Online Tee Time Booking
We encourage members to book online and take advantage of the online tee time booking feature which is now available for both members and visitors to book and pay for tee times, all members can start booking tee times using this feature by visiting
Initially you will need to sign up and create an account using the same email that is registered with the club.
This online booking function will allow you to book a tee time for up to 4 people.
If one member wants to book a flight of 4 members, he/she will need to know the registered email addresses of each of the members in the flight to make the booking.
Make sure to customize your booking by adding a caddie and buggy in the “Extras” section before clicking confirm.
Once the booking is confirmed you will receive a booking confirmation email, and as usual, caddie fees and buggy fees will need to be settled in the Pro shop upon arrival.
The payment feature is now available, allowing you to book and pay immediately for a smoother one-stop booking process.
Please note at this time, members who wish to book a specific caddie will still need to do so through the Pro shop.
Course Maintenance
During Febraury and March, we will be conducting minimally invasive greens maintenance, including weekly light top dressing and fortnightly light verticutting to ensure optimal playing conditions.
Tee boxes will be very lightly verticut and top dressed.
Facility Upgrades
We are pleased to share the latest updates on our ongoing projects:
- Bridge 1 is now complete.
- Bridge 2 construction is complete subject to some minor defect repairs and will be landscaped within march.
- Bridge 17 construction is now underway and construction of the bridge is schedulefd to be complete by early April.
- Phase 1 painting of the driving range building is complete and Phase 2 is scheduled to begin within March.
- A New 6 bay covered hitting area will be erected at the back of the driving range grass tee box by mid April.
- Banyan Café Toilets & Locker rooms restoration works will take place within March and are scheduled to be complete by Mid-April.

2025 Annual Dues
As a gentle reminder any member who settles their annual dues by 31 March 2025 will receive an early incentive bonus of 5 complimentary 18-hole buggy vouchers, available to all lead adult members.
